Manny Pacquiao could be at risk for Parkinson's if he fights again.

Pacquiao, right, nailed by a left hand from Marquez.
According to various sources, 8-division champion Manny Pacquiao's health could be in some serious danger if he fights an opponent that could threaten his career, and possibly his life. As a fan of boxing, it's scary knowing that someone important in the boxing landscape is seriously hurt. If Pacquiao is to fight again, he should fight someone who isn't a very big threat like Kell Brook, Leonard Bundu, and Kendall Holt.

After his controversial loss against Timothy Bradley, Pacquiao's fourth fight planned against Juan Manuel Marquez seemed to have been ruined. But, Pacquiao felt that a rematch against Bradley wasn't necessary, and the Pacquiao-Marquez IV superfight was on. Marquez did something that has never been done in any of his fights with the Pacman. He knocked Pacquiao down in the 3rd round. But then, Pacquiao scored a knockdown of his own in round 5. Finally, an overhand right from Marquez sent Pacquiao down and out.

It took Pacquiao a few minutes for him to recover, but eventually he got his senses back. If I was a doctor, I would strongly suggest that he should take a considerable amount of time out until he can even train again, let alone fight. again. I hope Pacquiao comes back as a stronger fighter because there is such thing as learning.
